iPhone & iPad: Add to Home Screen

Safari never shows an install button — you add the app yourself in three taps:

1. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow) in Safari’s bottom bar — top right on iPad.
2. Swipe up in the share sheet and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
3. Tap “Add” at the top right, then open the new Hi Networking icon from your home screen.

Using Chrome on iPhone? Open this page in Safari first — only Safari can add apps to the home screen. This page detects the installed app automatically and confirms it below.

Step 1 of 4: Tap the Share button in Safari’s bottom bar
It is the square with an arrow pointing up, in the middle of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen (on iPad it sits at the top right).
Step 2 of 4: Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”
The share sheet lists apps first — swipe up through the grey list of actions until you see the ⊞ “Add to Home Screen” row.
Step 3 of 4: Tap “Add” at the top right
You can shorten the name first. Then the Hi Networking icon appears on your home screen right away.
Step 4 of 4: Open the new icon, not Safari
Launching from the home-screen icon gives you full screen, camera access for scanning and offline capture.

No “Add to Home Screen” row in the share sheet
Swipe up inside the share sheet — the row sits below the grey actions list. Still missing? Tap “Edit Actions” at the bottom and switch “Add to Home Screen” on.
You’re not in Safari
Chrome, Firefox, Edge and in-app browsers (Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp) can’t install on iOS. Tap ⋯ / ⋯ menu → “Open in Safari”, or type hinetworking.com/install in Safari.
Private Browsing is on
Safari hides “Add to Home Screen” in Private tabs. Tap the tabs button, switch from Private to a normal tab group, reload this page and try again.
The icon isn’t on your home screen
iOS may have dropped it on the last page or into the App Library. Swipe left to the last home screen page, or pull down and search “Hi Networking”.
It opens in Safari with an address bar
You launched the bookmark instead of the app icon, or an older shortcut exists. Delete the old icon (long-press → Remove), then repeat the three steps above.
Restrictions or a managed device
Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions must allow installing apps. On a work-managed iPhone your MDM profile may block home-screen web apps — ask your IT admin.

After a fix, tap “Check installation” above — or simply open the new icon and this page will confirm the install by itself.
